Care for Cancer

A group of 13 friends took to the sky on the 23rd May 2010 to take part in a tandem jump. The group raised £2,000+ for Care for Cancer.

Easter Jumps 2010

On Easter Monday 5th April 2010 NI Hospice arranged a group to take part in our annual Easter event. The group managed to raise a massive £12,000 congratulations to everyone who took part and made this such a sucessful event.

Dominic Kirwan

As part of his 50th Birthday celebrations, fans of Dominic Kirwan have arranged to take part in a tandem Skydive which will benefit 3 charities – Macmillan Nurses, Marie Curie and Charis. The charities were chosen in recognition of the care Dominic’s mother received from them during his mother’s illness prior to her death in September 2007. Dominic and his family thought that it would be fitting to use the occasion of his birthday by highlighting the valuable work the charities do in the local community.

The Fostering Network

The worlds super heroes took time out from their busy schedule to do a tandem jump for the The Fostering Network. The group raised over £2,500

Armed Forces Day

The skydive centre, setting for the joint partnership initiative between The Royal British Legion and Moonjumper, celebrated Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June in style, with a series of tandem poppy jumps and fun for all the family.

 Parachute jumpers help children’s cancer charity reach £50k milestone

Marie-Clare Doogan and a group of her friends from the Maghera and Magherafelt area recently took on the challenge of a parachute jump to raise money for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.  The group’s act of bravery raised a fantastic £3750, and marked the amazing milestone of £50,000 being raised overall through the charities partnership with skydive company, Moonjumper

Drumreagh Presbyterian Church

Robbie Gall and Emma Hayes both members of the church choir did a skydive on Saturday 20th September 08. A total of £4,500 was raised.












Children In Crossfire

Derry City Fans took part in a parachute jump to raise money for Children in Crossfire. The group raised over £3000 for the charity. Children in Crossfire works in 12 of the poorest countries in the world combating poverty. The charity aims to ensure that children are not denied their basic human rights such as food, fresh drinking water, a secure home and an education. Every day almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes. That's 1 child every 5 seconds. MS charity jump

The Newry and Armagh Branch took part in a parachute jump last September and a total of over £5000 was raised to help local people affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
